the mighty mighty MO turns 9

The 30th of April is día del niño here in Mexico. It is also the day that Marcus Mosiah Galbraith was born. I remember thiat night nine years ago going to bed tired and so sad, practically hysterical, because he had not come and Grandma and Grandpa Galbraith were leaving in just one more day. I hadn’t slept long when I had to get up to make yet another middle of the night bathroom trip and my water broke. I was so happy! He came just 6 hours later and we cried with joy over his perfect little person. Lying on the bed in the comfort of our Artesanos apartment just born, Mo began to suck his little thumb.

He has always been Mo. He has always been a cuddle bug and more of a mama’s boy. He is agile and athletic. He gets down when the music moves him. He loves puzzles. He has a quick and quirky sense of humor. He is brave and bold when he believes in something. He is goofy and silly and loves making us laugh. He can be shy at times and very apprehensive about trying new things. But once he does, he just goes! He has a tender heart, yet is so quick to forgive. He excels when there is routine and he knows what to expect. He works hard and is forever asking: “Mom, can I help you with anything?”

How we love our Marcus Mo! Feliz cumpleaños!
